Students Earn National Certification in Phlebotomy

Nationally Certified credentials will enter you into a growing group of distinguished healthcare professionals. These healthcare professionals come from all types of healthcare industries such as: government agencies, healthcare related businesses, and educational communities from around the world.
National Healthcareer Association (NHA) is nationally approved and highly recognized as a certification organization in all 50 states and around the world.
A Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) draws blood from patients or donors in hospitals, blood banks, or similar facilities for analysis or other medical purposes. A CPT may perform some or all of the following duties. However, they are not limited to just these responsibilities:
- Assembles equipment and disposable containers for needles
- Tests for drug levels in the blood
- Looks for abnormal cells in the body and body fluids
- Performs complex chemical, biological, and microscopic tests
- May conduct patient interviews and take vital signs
- Performs basic Phlebotomy procedures
