As a patient care technician you will assess patients vital signs, perform blood draws, start I.V’s and perform EKG’s.  Many students work in hospitals after completing the national exam.

The Patient Care Technician certification along with the EKG and Phlebotomy is now our Summer special. Certifications along with transcripts will be awarded to students upon completion of successful externships in phlebotomy, EKG and patient care technician along with 35 blood draws.  Each student has up to 6 months to complete the class.  Clinicals are necessary for the certification and it is up to the student to find a clinical site in their vicinity where they can perform 8 hours of shadowing or hands on demonstration.  Instructors will assist students in preparing them for clinicals and providing a letter of course completion. Students are encouraged to perform their due diligence at obtaining a preferred clinical site prior to enrolling in class.  All books and online modules, videos and other teaching materials are included.  Personal instruction is provided to each student for the duration of the course via Skype sessions. The certification through Phlebotomy Career Training is approved through the AMCA, NCCT, the NTA, the NHA, as well as the N.A.P.T.P.,

Free Training Arm included in the course along with the EKG book.

The national exam is included in the course cost.  Students may sit for any national exam in their place of residence upon course completion.  Phlebotomy Career Training will pay for the students national exam of choice within the 6 months of class time.  Please contact the school for more information at 734-762-3220 #1.  Ask for Nancy.
