Hello students, this course is designed to help train those who plan to work in the field of mental health. The course will cover some of the many types of mental illnesses, their effects on the patient and their family, as well as how their behavior is viewed in the community. Additionally, the student will learn about psychotropic medications and their side effects, drug addictive behaviors and depression.
We hope that you enjoy the course and always remember that there is not such thing as total mental health. There is a fine line which all of us cross from time to time in our lives that puts us on the side of mental illness, if even for a moment.
