Online Telemetry Technician Course & Certification Overview

Telemetry technicians collect the data from electrocardiograms, heart monitors, and telemetry monitors. The data that is collected is called telemetry in the field of cardiovascular studies. Telemetry is interpreted via rhythm analysis and breakdown. Telemetry technicians work in labs and hospitals where they closely watch telemetry monitors and interpret rhythms. Telemetry Technicians report any changes to healthcare providers so that they can take appropriate action for the patient.

The 100% online course curriculum includes principles of rhythm analysis and interpretation of over 30 rhythms, patient care assessment, diagnosis of rhythms, and ECG strips.
