Phlebotomy Career Training, now operating under its new brand PCT Institute of Healthcare, is proud to announce its membership in the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce. This partnership marks an exciting chapter for our school and the communities we serve throughout Southeast Michigan.
A New Brand, A Bigger Mission
For over 14 years, Phlebotomy Career Training has helped thousands of students launch careers in healthcare. As we continue to grow and expand our program offerings, we have rebranded to PCT Institute of Healthcare to better reflect the full range of certifications and career paths we now offer, from phlebotomy and medical assisting to ECG, patient care, and beyond.
Joining the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is a natural next step. It connects us with local businesses, community leaders, and organizations that share our commitment to workforce development and economic growth in the region.

Nancy L. Kimmel obtained her PhD in Environmental Engineering in 2002, then went on to teach Physics and Mechanical Engineering at Lawrence Technological University, Henry Ford College and Oakland University. She obtained her Associate in Nursing from Henry Ford College and then went on to earn her Master Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner and became Board Certified working as a licensed FNP in the State of Michigan. She then went on to Medical School where she is now in her 3rd year, and is also in the process of obtaining her Doctorate in Nursing Practice through Chamberlin University. She has authored the NET Study Guide, as well a several books on subjects of Math, ECG/EKG and Phlebotomy. She holds a patent on an Air Filter through the U.S. Patent Office.
