Come See Us at the Dearborn Health and Wellness Fair on June 14
Mark your calendars! Phlebotomy Career Training and our new brand PCT Institute of Healthcare will be out in the community at the City of Dearborn Health and Wellness Fair on Saturday, June 14, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The event takes place at Dearborn Peace Park, 22271 West Village Dr, Dearborn, MI 48124, and it is completely free to attend.
Free Blood Pressure Readings and Our Hydration Station
For over 14 years, our students and graduates have been serving communities across Southeast Michigan. At this event, our team will be providing free blood pressure readings and running a hydration station to help everyone beat the summer heat. Stop by, grab a cold drink, and chat with us about healthcare careers.
A Fun Photo Op for the Kids
We are setting up a special photo area where kids can dress up as future healthcare providers and snap a picture. If you have little ones who love playing doctor or nurse, this is their chance to see themselves in the role. We believe in inspiring the next generation early, and who knows, maybe one of those kids will be a future phlebotomist or medical assistant!
What Else Is Happening at the Fair
The Health and Wellness Fair is hosted by SAFE Wellness in partnership with Dearborn Public Health. Expect free health screenings including glucose, BMI, dental exams, eye exams, and hearing exams. There will also be mental health resources, nutrition information, face painting, and plenty of activities for the whole family.
Thinking About a Career Change?
If you have been thinking about getting into healthcare, come talk to us in person. We have been training phlebotomists since 2010 and have expanded into medical assisting, EKG, patient care, and more. Our programs are 100% online and self-paced, so you can keep working while you earn your certification. Check out our Phlebotomy Technician Tier II program or browse everything at pctinstituteofhealthcare.org.
We hope to see you and your family at Peace Park on June 14. It is going to be a great day!
